Under Rotary District 3055, the Rotary Club of Vadali Round Town proudly inaugurated advanced eye care equipment at the Sabarkantha Community Rotary Eye Care Centre, located at Vishwakalyan Society – Atmavallabh Hospital, Idar. This project has been implemented under Rotary Global Grant GG-2688848, supported by The Rotary Foundation, with a total project cost of USD 36,491. The newly installed equipment includes: Phacoemulsification Machine Ophthalmic Surgical Microscope The inauguration ceremony was graced by generous donors Hansaben Vasantbhai Soni and Gangarambhai Patel (on behalf of Maheshbhai Patel). On behalf of Rotary, the event was attended by: District Governor Nigambhai Chaudhary Past District Governor Lalitbhai Sharma District Governor Elect Naimishbhai Ravani District Governor Nominee Shyamkumar These facilities will significantly enhance the quality of eye care services and enable affordable cataract surgeries for the community, contributing towards the prevention of avoidable blindness.
The Rotary Club undertook a School Furniture Project at Sharda High School, Vadali with the objective of improving the learning environment for students. Under this initiative, essential school furniture such as desks and benches was provided to ensure comfortable seating and a more organized classroom setup. This project aims to support quality education by creating a student-friendly atmosphere that encourages better concentration, discipline, and academic performance. Proper furniture not only enhances comfort but also contributes to students’ health and overall classroom experience. The project reflects Rotary’s commitment to education, community development, and the well-being of future generations.
